About the style 3 Big Ben

The style 3 was the first of the Big Ben/Baby
Ben series
to be designed by industrial design pioneer
Henry Dreyfus.
The style 3 was available only with the new Chime
Alarm movement, while the peg leg Bib Ben was
still in production.
The style 3 was only made from 1931 until 1933.

Features: This is
a Big Ben, style 3, the first Big Ben to utilize the Chime Alarm
movement. The model has a
soft ticking sound. The chime alarm starts off slowly
and then gets louder. |

The
movement has been serviced and it runs and alarms as it
should.
The original dial is EXCELLENT. The nickel plating is
VERY GOOD. The original paint is very good, with some
minor paint loss seen in the photos. |
